- Students drew big (大) and small (小) turtles on their worksheet.

- Students wrote Chinese characters 1-10 & big, small, up, and down on a sheet. Differentiation: I tutored few students about five minutes and most of our students already wrote whole page. (Practice for test. )
- Stroke order practice (up上,down下,big大,小small,五five,九nine,六six,四four.).
- We had a Chinese vocabulary test today. We had 24 students got 100% on red class and 21 students got 100% on the blue class.
Math:
Monday (09/17) :
- Topic 2: Fluently add and subtract with 10.
- 2-2: Doubles
- Use doubles to solve problems.
- Doubles facts have the same number for both addends and can be used to solve problems involving real world situations.

- Topic 2– Fluently add and subtract within 10.
- 2-3 Near doubles.
- Solve problems using near doubles facts.

Friday (09/21):
- Topic 2– Fluently add and subtract within 10.
- 2-4 Facts with 5 on a ten frame.
- Use a ten-frame to solve addition facts with 5 and 10.
- Facts with sums 6 through 10 can broken into 5 plus some more.
Science/Social Studies (Interconnections):
Monday (09/17) :
- Schedule, classroom rules reinforcement & student and teacher roles.
- Students' role in lunch time: During the lunch time, two students need to carry lunch box to cafeteria. When students finish their lunch, two students need to clear the floor.
Tuesday (09/18):
- Schedule and Classroom rules reinforcement
- Schedule: Wednesday is a short day. We eat lunch in classroom.
- Students duty in classroom.

- Review: 1. eyes watching, 2. ears listening, 3. voice quiet, and 4. body still.

- Students learned that when they follow teacher's direction they can move their clips up. However, if they do undesired behaviors they need to move their clip down.
